Description: The service in question is relative to the treatment, incineration and subsequent conditioning of the resulting ashes, in order to reduce the final volume of the products and the necessary storage volumeters, of the following radioactive liquid refusal currents, mainly of an organic nature , with extremely variable physical, chemical and radiological characteristics between them, currently stored in the Sogin systems of Trisaia, Saluggia and Casaccia:
Trisaia (MT): about 1.8 m3 of organic liquid waste, composed essentially from TBP and kerosene deriving from previous fuel reprocessing operations. Furthermore, there are 300 liters, similar to the previous ones, but with a content in higher radionuclides, in addition to the treatment forecast of additional solid waste currents, such as the sludge of the water purification plant (TAF system) and the coal...
