Description:
The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) is an international observatory aimed at studying the cosmos at very high energies (gamma rays), consisting of multiple types of small (SST), medium (MST) and large (LST) telescopes.
This procedure tender refers to the supply of the frame of 28965740e25c5159704771322c83775d6LST telescopes and related foundations for the CTA site in the southern hemisphere (Cerro Paranal / Cerro Armazones Chile), to be built by adapting part of the design of the LST mount already installed in the northern hemisphere (Roque de Los Muchachos in La Palma, Canary Islands ); Furthermore, it includes constructionand and shipment to site of the parts of the two mounts and the related foundations as well as the integration and verification of the first of the two.
The second mount must be available on site for subsequent integration and verification.
