Description : An integration of two existing high content imaging (HCI) instruments. The integration, i.e. workcell, should include a robotic arm, a plate hotel and an automated cell incubator. This workcell should be controlled by a scheduling software, which is able to schedule plate transfers from incubator (live-cell experiments) or plate hotel (fixed cells) to either of the two HCI instruments.
Currently, the HTS facility has two HCI instruments: Thermo CellInsight™ CX7 LZR and Thermo Cellomics Arrayscan VTI which is connected to a robotic arm and a plate hotel. This robotic arm is at the end of its lifecycle.
