Description:
During the 2021-2027 Community programming period, the General Directorate of Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture, through the competent Offices, will have to exercise the functions of Management Authority, as well as coordination of the delegated Intermediate Bodies, and in particular will have tocarry out the activities related to the planning and implementation of the National Program of the European Fund for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture, established with Regulation (EU) n. 1139/2021.
In the context of Priority 3 of the PN FEAMPA, DG PEMAC is called to strengthen local developmentparticipatory-type activities (CLLD) in favor of the Fisheries Local Action Group (GAL Pesca), financing bottom-up strategies aimed at promoting growth in coastal, island and inland areas based on a sustainable blue economy, enhancing human and social resources , cultural and environmental41042ad53247f54a3e573a8c87482365, as well as integrating the fishing and aquaculture sectors with those of the Blue Economy for the purpose of the EMFF.
