Description:
The objective of the PRP- Pathogen Readiness Platform for CERIC-ERIC upgrade (Prot. IR0000028, CUP J97G220004000006) infrastructural project is to create a distributed infrastructure capable of developing and implementing platforms and diagnostic tools to deal with pandemics, by axescure early intervention and to develop treatment and prevention approaches.
The goal is to improve interventions against future epidemics by providing CERIC-ERIC with a highly specialized platform for scientific research on pathogens.
In particular, the Project foreseesand the strengthening of the Bio Open Lab of the Department of Mathematics and Physics "Ennio de Giorgi" of the University of Salento as an Italian node of the European CERIC-ERIC infrastructure.
