Description:
The System has the purpose of defining lists of economic operators with specific moral, technical and economic-financial requirements, to be invited, with the methods and criteria established by current legislation and by the System itself, to restricted or negotiated procedures for the award of the serviceordinary and corrective maintenance of the systems (escalators and lifts) of the automatic light rail system of Brescia. The System relates to the assignment of the maintenance and control activities of the escalator and elevator systems located in the infrastructures in servipublic (metro stations) and private (locations) managed by Metro Brescia, in accordance with the scheduled maintenance programs, and any ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities necessary to ensure the safety, reliability, and proper maintenance of thesystems (lifts and / or escalators).
The complex of systems subject to the service currently consists of:
a) N. 61 ESCALATORS and n. 39 LIFTS, in public transport service at the 17 underground stations;
b) no. 4 LIFTS for private use, at the main office(warehouse) located in Brescia, via Magnolini n. 3.
It is specified that:
1- the tender procedures announced by Metro Brescia will concern the joint maintenance of escalators and lifts; therefore only the economic operators qualified to the System in both categories will be invited;
