- The ASL of Bari needs to acquire salivary kit for genomic DNA extraction for genetic tests (HLA), in order to promote the recruitment activities of bone marrow donors and also promote the HLA typing of Apulian citizens, also for the purposes referred to in regional law 1 April 2003, n. 7 (Establishment of the regional register of bone marrow donors). The aim of the activity described is to increase the number of potential marrow donors.
The salivary kits, intended for donor recruitment activities, must be equipped with the following Requirements:
• System with ease of withdrawal "All in one": sample, stabilization of the sample and transport of DNA from saliva;
• Collection of saliva with volume greater than or equal to 2 ml;
• presence of stabilizing liquid in the tappino equal to the volume of saliva;
• Store at temperature environment;
• DNA stability after collection for a time of more than 24 months at room temperature;
• bacterial contamination: median value declared less than 12%;
• inactivation of the Sars-Cov-2 virus in the samples collected;
• median DNA yield value greater than 100 micrograms;
