Tenders are invited for First! - Next Generation Power Sources for Future Space Transportation (Negepow) - Expro+ The objective of the activity is to derisk in short timeframe next generation power sources for Future Space Transportation, e.g. relying on high energy density batteries based on advanced lithium battery technologies or technologies based on fuel cells and supercapacitors ; these technologies are deemed promising to improve the efficiency of batteries for launchers. For functions requiring low power, e.g. for wireless sensors network, it is also planned to mature energy harvesting technologies, either relying on thermalconcept or vibration concept. After the identification of potential application and the definition of related requirements, the activity shall allow identifying the potential gains in terms of performance and/or recurring costs and then demonstrate the ability ofthe technology to bring these gains to the identified potential application by manufacturing and testing a breadboard of the proposed technology.
