- The United Nations Global Service (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified Contractor to establish a long-term contract for the design and installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels in two (2) buildings at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi Italy. The period that the long-term contract shall be for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option of extension for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3 1 1), subject to the Contractor's satisfactory performance and UNGSC's operational requirements.The services shall be provided on an "as and when required"basis in accordance with the availability of funds and operational requirements of the United Nations Global Service Centre.The service activities are summarized below:- Executive design for the complete photovoltaic plant that shall be developed based on the Conceptual Design, Drawings, and Specifications detailed by the UNGSC.- Comprehensive maintenance plan.- Provision, installation, and connection of the building switchboard, modular photovoltaic (PV) systems, and energy dashboards. Regarding the photovoltaic panels, the Contractor is required to provide a quotation for the installation of modules, each consisting of 60 photovoltaic panels, type JAM54S30-415/MR or similar. Regarding the inverters, the Contractor is tasked with installing inverters, specifically type Sunny Tripower X 25 - STP 25-50.- Final testing and certification of the project.The Contractor is required to be registered with the pertinent professional qualifications in the Italian Chamber of Commerce Business Registry, in accordance with Article 26 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 81/08. This registration shall cover the following category: Letter A ("impianti di produzione, trasformazione,transport, distribution, use of electrical energy, systems for protection against atmospheric discharges, as well as systems for the automation of doors, gates and barriers") of Article 1 of Italian Law No. 37, dated 22/01/ 2008.The full technical requirements and details will be pr8965740e25c5159704771322c83775d6ovided with a formal solicitation document to be issued soon after the closing date for this EOI.
