Description:
The Cemex complex is made up of the following main works:
- Process Building, in which the radioactive fluids will be cemented inside metal drums;
- Depot Building, in which the artifacts resulting from cementation will be stored.
The Cemex complex is located in an area of the Site41042ad53247f54a3e573a8c87482365Eurex [omissis]. This area was deemed suitable, as well as for the contiguity of the tanks from which it will receive the liquids to be cemented, also for its distance from areas with the continuous presence of operating personnel.
The activities covered by this contract, to be performed at the plant EUREX41042ad53247f54a3e573a8c87482365in the Municipality of SALUGGIA (VC), are related to the construction of the CEMEX plant through a process of neutralization and solidification through incorporation in a cement matrix.
In particular, they concern:
• completely the construction of structural civil works;
• the construction ofplants and systems;
• the installation of equipment and components;
• the execution of tests, functional checks and personnel training for the operation of the plant.
