Description:
The aim of the St3TART Follow-On activity is to ensure the operational provision of Fiducial Reference Measurement-s (FRM) to support the Calibration and Validation activities and enhance the exploitation of the High Resolution (HR) measurements of the Sentinel-3SAR altimeter Land and Thematic data products during the Routine Operational Phase of the Copernicus Sentinel-3 mission, through reference Cal/Val techniques carried out over inland waters, sea ice and land ice areas. The project shall rely on the FRM sites, protocols and procedures defined in the frame of the first St3TART contract (available @ https://sentinel3-st3tart.noveltis.fr) and shall include all necessary FRM developments and deployments to guaranty an FRM operational provision to the ESA Sentinel-3 Altimetry constellation for the duration of the St3TART FO contract.
