Description:
The Battipaglia MBT plant performs a mechanical-biological treatment of unsorted municipal waste (EER 20.03.01) coming from the collection carried out in the Province of Salerno, by virtue of the Integrated Environmental Authorization, adopted with the Executive Decree of the Regional Council of the Cacompany no. 190 of 11.8.2015 and subsequent amendments. The processing consists in a mulching for the separation of the dry fraction from the wet one. In particular, the tritovagliata dry fraction (FST) produced is packaged in bales, the packaging takes place through a pressing, a bindingwith iron wire and a subsequent coating with plastic extensible film. The object of this procedure concerns the iron wire used for binding the bales.
