THE was born from a project proposal presented by the University of Florence, as lead partner, in line with one of the strategic lines of the Tuscany Region relating to Life Sciences.
Innovation ecosystems, according to the PNRR, in fact arise in areas of tech specialization41042ad53247f54a3e573a8c87482365logic consistent with the industrial and research vocations of the reference area, promoting and strengthening the collaboration between the research system, the production system and the local institutions.
The structure of the ecosystem is organized according to the hub modelle Superiore is involved in the following spokes:
4) Nanotechnologies for diagnosis and therapy (spoke leader UNIPI, UNIFI affiliate partners, UNISI, CNR, SNS, IIT);
8) Biotechnologies and imaging in neuroscience (SNS spoke leader; UNIFI affiliate partners , UNIPI, CNR, SSSA, IMT);
Regarding Nano41042ad53247f54a3e573a8c87482365technologies for diagnosis and therapy the project foresees, as an objective of the first year, the purchase of a "platform for advanced confocal microscopy, biophotonics and sensing", which subsequently allows to quantitatively monitor neoplastic forms and theranostic nanosystems in bbiological systems, preferably with the simultaneous detection of multiple molecules or characteristics of the biological system (Technical Specifications Attachment in the dedicated URL).
