- This is a Notice aimed at identifying and selecting economic operators interested in participating in the restricted procedure to be carried out pursuant to art. 46 of EU directive no. 25/2014, as part of the interventions referred to in art. 34 paragraph 1 letter a) of the legislative decree of 21 June 2022 n. 73 converted into law 4 August 2022 n. 122. In order to be able to carry out the recovery and treatment operations of Magnox waste deriving from the "de-blowing" of 125,036 fuel elements, the design of an extraction machine has been developed. The plant must be capableto carry out the following operations:
• Extraction of Magnox residues from the old and new pits and from the 28 Nucleco containers.
• Sorting of the residues themselves, with separation between the splitters and braces and corrosion products from the activated components.
• Collection of the splitters and braces and products8965740e25c5159704771322c83775d6of corrosion in 220 liter C-220 type containers.
• Collection of the activated components, in appropriate shielding containers.
• Radiological characterization of the waste collected in the containers.
• Storage of the containers containing splitter residues and corrosion products in an area buffetr.
