Tenders are invited for EOP Visualisation Team - Expro+ This call asks for an offer for support of ESA's activities in the field of scientific visualization of satellite data from a wide range of missions and the operations of the visitor centers inside ESA's establishment in Frascati, Italy. The work will include the production of visuals based on a wide range of scientific data like time series and statistical data. The visuals to be produced by the team will include graphics, images and animations including e.g. long term time series and illustrations on climate change on a global, regional and local scale. Apart from the visualization the team will also be responsible for the content production, the maintenance and the operations of ESA's visitor facilities (Mainly the Phi-experience and the ESRIN visitor center). This includes giving tours of the visitor facilities as well as organisation the maintenance. It will also include some technical aspects like display technology and others. Additionally new concepts for visualising science will be explored by the team specifically in the area of VR and AR. New installations of copies of the existing exhibition space into other locations like ESA establishments or museums are foreseen and supporting these activities will also be part of the responsibility of the team. The work will be carried out for theEuropean Space Agency's Earth Observation Programmes Directorate in ESRIN in Frascati, Italy over the period 2024-2027. These activities are managed by the Strategy, Programme and Coordination Office (EOP-C), of ESA's Directorate of Earth Observation Programmes (D/EOP)
