• Tenders are invited for EO for Nature Finance - Expro+ This activity will address the use of EO data and tools in support to Nature Finance topics, stemming from the broader context of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework and with respect to Natural Capital Valuation (NCV) aspects. Key end-users and stakeholders of this activity are financial and economic entities and institutions, and operators in key selected industrial sectors. The first objective of the project is to develop and validate innovative methodologies to quantify and monitor dependencies and impacts on nature of end-to-end supply value-chains of selected industries (e.g., cement, steel, pulp paper). The activity is linked to the efforts of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and many other entities, and it aims at providingthe needed information for harmonised procedures related to companies' overall nature-related disclosures and corresponding financial metrics. The second objective of the project is to pioneer, test and validate EO-integrated methodologies for solutions in support to specific finance and economic scenarios such as, a) nature-debt swap mechanisms; b) integration of NCV in GDP reporting; c) financial risk indicators for adaptation and transition; d) financial instruments and product offering for nature-related commodities (e.g., nature-/bio-credits).
