- Positive welfare is becoming an increasing focus of animal welfare science. A robust methodology needs to be developed to assess positive welfare to make reliable predictions about animals- preferences and choices. This project aims to establish protocols for choice tests using behaviour-analytic procedures and reliable animal-based indicators for positive welfare for at least two farm animal species.
