Tenders are invited for Cristal in-Flight Level-2 Products Validation Plan (in-Prova) - Expro+ The aim of the CRISTAL IN-PROVA activity is to investigate and define methods and protocols to calibrate and validate (Cal/Val) CRISTAL Level-2 data products during commissioning and routine operation mission phases. The Cal/Val activities will be planned considering the CRISTAL mission requirements and with the goal to achieve those.During the project it will be assessed the needs for Fiducial Reference Measurements (FRMs) permanent or opportunity sites, in support of the Cal/Val activities over cryosphere and hydrology. As part of the Cal/Val plan, methods and protocols for cross comparison with other altimeter missions will be investigated and defined. Synergies with other Copernicus Expansion Missions will be also investigated to optimize the validation strategies and opportunities.The CRISTAL IN-PROVA activities are also planned to be carried out in synergies with other ESA complementary activities, such us the ground prototype definition for CRISTAL and CIMR Copernicus Expansion Missions and other ESA initiatives for the provision of FRM in the altimetry domain over cryosphere and hydrology
