Description:
Tenders are invited for Copphil Infrastructure Support. The procurement aims to provide technical assistance and tools for scoping, designing and setup of the Copernicus Mirror Site hosted by the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) as part of PhilSA existing data infrastructure. The activity is part of the "National Copernicus Capacity Support Action for the Philippines (CopPhil) initiative" funded by DG-INTPA and delegated to ESA for implementation.The main objective of CopPhil is to facilitate the uptake of Copernicus data in the Philippines with an initial thematic focus on three predefined pilot projects in the areas of ground motion monitoring, land cover, forest crop mapping and benthic habitat monitoring. The CopPhil initiative will rely on close cooperation between the European Commission (DG-INTPA and the EU Delegation in the Philippines), ESA, PhilSA and the government of the Philippines as partners. Considering this context all CopPhil activities and related procurements are planned as international cooperation expressly encouraging the collaboration and joint consortia between Europe and the Philippines.Read more
