Description:
The contract relates to the ordinary maintenance service of the surface texture of the pavement of the runway at Catania Fontanarossa Airport. The service consists in the periodic removal of the rubber layer from the surface of the runway, with restoration of the values of adhesion and surface texture of the flooring "in a workmanlike manner" and according to ICAO parameters. The degumming and paint removal services must be carried out by high pressure hydro degumming and must be carried out mainly at night and in fmeeting the needs of airport traffic. The degumming operation must also guarantee the removal of any debris or processing residue, maintaining the roughness characteristics of the surface mat unchanged, in order to guarantee an immediate reopening of the runwayal traffico aereo.
