Description : Stara Glass is leading the LIFE SUGAR project (www.lifesugarproject.com) within which we intend to install an experimental steam reforming unit (we define it mock-up, of a successive pilot plant) in the University of Genova campus of Savona, in order to demonstrate the possibility of converting methane and water to hydrogen by an external heat source, representing the hot gas of a glass production factory. For the project we designed the component and its test, and now we need some supplier to:
1) build the component on our design and specifications
2) install the component in the Savona facility
3) after a first test campaign, the catalyst inside the pipe have to be substituted by cutting, emptying, re-filling and re-welding them in place.
