- The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks a qualified contractor to establish a long-term contract (3 + 1 + 1 years) for the collection, transport and disposal of garbage and special and toxic waste services in its premises located in Brindisi, Italy.The requirement will consist of but not limited to the following activities:Collection, transportation and disposal of Garbage (undifferentiated/dry and humid/organic):- Characterization of garbage (undifferentiated/dry and humid/organic). Cleaning and disinfection services of all bins.Collection, transportation and disposal of Special and Toxic Waste:- Characterization of waste (special and toxic waste). - Special waste including (and not limited to) solvents, paint, toner, adhesives, oils, packaging, absorbents, tires, discarded equipment, batteries, construction materials, glass, metals, and other waste.Collection, transportation destruction and disposal of Paper records:- Paper and carton, including certification of destruction and disposal at an authorized site; Collection, transportation destruction and disposal of special materials/items:- Helmets, ceramic plates, medals, UN vehicle license plates, anti-fragmentati...
