For the needs related to the declaration of the state of emergency referred to in the resolution of the Council of Ministers of 11 April 2023 as a consequence of the exceptional increase in the flows of migrant people entering the national territory through the migratory routes of the Mediterranean,pursuant to the Ordinance of the Head of the Civil Protection Department n. 984 of 16 April 2023, the Commissioner delegate requests the immediate availability of one or more naval units for the service of transporting migrants from the port of the island of Lampedusa to the ports of Porto Empedocle (AG) orPozzallo (RG).
