- Tenders are invited for Agriculture Atmospheric Emissions - Expro+. Using current spaceborne capacities for trace gas monitoring, especially SWIR and TIR spectrometers, the Agriculture Atmospheric Emissions (AGATE) project aims at studying agriculture-related atmospheric emissions. It will also include the development of new methodologies improving agriculture driven atmospheric emissions detection and estimation, in the objective to enhance inventories and monitoring of the emissions in this sector. Main species considered would bemethane(e.g., livestock, rice), ammonia(e.g., use of fertilizers, swine) as well as products from waste burning. A strong connection with land products is foreseen. The project requiresthe involvement and collaborative work with relevant end-users.
